Axel Flóvent — + support: tjels

About this event

Few voices are as pure and intense as that of Icelandic indie-folk artist Axel Flóvent. From his debut EP Forest Fires —whose title track has already been streamed over 90 million times—Flóvent has had a way of striking straight at the heart with his dreamy, introspective songs. It wasn’t long before he found his way onto countless playlists alongside greats such as Ben Howard and Bon Iver. After spending time living in Amsterdam and Brighton, Flóvent has since returned to the North Icelandic fishing village of Húsavík. It is his hometown, where he found the calm and renewed inspiration for recent singles Nowhere and In the Grass , as well as his upcoming EP Fleeing the Shore .
