Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2025
The privacy of your data — and it is your data, not ours! — is a big deal to us. Our guiding principle is to collect only what we need. We never sell your data: never have, never will. Evendar has no user accounts, no logins, and no billing — so the only data involved is anonymous usage analytics described below.
What we collect and why
Website interactions
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use Evendar. Plausible is a privacy-first analytics tool: it does not use cookies, does not collect any personally identifiable information, and does not track you across sites. The data collected is aggregated and fully anonymised — it includes things like page views, referrer, browser type, and country-level location. No IP address is ever stored. You can read more about Plausible's data practices at plausible.io/data-policy.
Voluntary correspondence
If you email us, we keep that correspondence — including your email address — so we have a record of past exchanges to reference if you reach out again in the future. We use this information for no other purpose.
When we access or share your information
Because we collect no personal data, there is almost nothing to share. The only circumstances under which we would disclose information are:
- To comply with the law. If we are compelled by a valid legal process (warrant, court order, or similar), we will disclose only the minimum required by law and will notify you to the extent permitted.
- Aggregated, de-identified data. We may share anonymised, aggregated statistics (e.g. "X visitors per month") for purposes such as press or partnerships. This data cannot be used to identify you.
We do not and will not sell any data — anonymised or otherwise — to third parties.
Your rights
We apply the same data rights to all visitors regardless of location. Because we hold no personal data about you, most rights are satisfied by default. In particular:
- Right to Know / Access. We do not hold personal information about you beyond any email correspondence you initiated.
- Right to Erasure. If you emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, contact us and we will remove it.
- Right to Complain. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the Netherlands, that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
- Right to Non-Discrimination. We do not and will not treat you differently based on any privacy choices you make.

How we secure your data
All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted via TLS. We do not store personal data in our database, so there is no personal data at rest to protect beyond email correspondence, which is handled by our email provider.
Data retention
Plausible analytics data is aggregated and anonymised — there is no personal data to retain or delete. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it remains relevant for support purposes. Server access logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days.
Location of site and data
Evendar is operated from the Netherlands. Plausible Analytics is a European company and stores all data on EU-based servers. If you email us, your message may be processed by servers outside the EU depending on your email provider.
Changes and questions
We may update this policy as needed to comply with relevant regulations and reflect any new practices. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised.
