About this event

TAPE TOY presents their strongest work to date with the new album 'Dumb Sites'. This album is more adventurous, melodic, and personal, with escapism as a common thread. The musical style is 90s-inspired grunge-pop with influences from shoegaze and indietronica, described as dreamy, raw, stubborn, and catchy. The band, consisting of Roos van Tuil, Wesley Fransen, Maurice van de Graaf, and Marc van Dongen, is known for their energetic indie rock, influenced by grunge, britpop, and skate punk. They won the Amsterdamse Popprijs, scored a 3FM Megahit, and played at various festivals. 'Dumb Sites' follows their previous releases 'Honey, WTF' and 'Launch The Rocket'.
