Omasta

About this event

Omasta brings jazz, hip-hop and street culture together in a rich, groove-heavy sound. Heavy drums and deep basslines form the foundation for melodic interplay between piano, trumpet, saxophone and flute, while jazz improvisation and the energy of beat culture continuously come together. The result is layered music full of groove and character. The band from Krakow has quickly grown into a prominent name on the European jazz scene. After their debut with a tribute to J Dilla in 2024, they have performed at festivals including the London Jazz Festival and Gent Jazz and collaborated with artists such as Madlib and Tenderlonious. In 2025, they released their debut album Jazz Report from the Hood , which earned Omasta international attention.
