About this event
Meeuw is a modern adaptation of Chekhov's play of the same name, directed by Nina Spijkers. The piece explores the clashes between two generations within a family, with the dreams and desires of the younger generation versus the conservative attitudes of the older ones. The production uses gender-swapped roles to make the classic play relevant to a contemporary audience.
