ZWARTEWATER

About this event

Raised on a diet of 90s NYC underground rap and local legends, rap formation ZWARTEWATER, with producer Milan and MCs Goudi and Frodeau, continues to build Zwolle's hip-hop history. From behind the IJssel, they deliver a hard-hitting, ominous sound and razor-sharp, raw lyrics. Undeniable for connoisseurs but ready for a wider audience. They recently played a sold-out show at Simplon as the support act for Rico, but now they are setting their sights on their own show. On December 4th, the trio will fire off their cryptic bullets, cleverly packaging what occupies them in 2025: from global wars to battles in their minds.
