Erwin Nyhoff & The Prodigal Sons

About this event

From Pinkpop performer to dishwasher, and back again as a finalist on The Voice of Holland : few Dutch artists have had a career as eventful as Erwin Nyhoff. In the early 1990s, Nyhoff broke through as the frontman of The Prodigal Sons with the radio hit You Still Think . With their debut album Wine of Life , The Prodigal Sons played major festivals including Pinkpop and Lowlands and supported Pearl Jam and Alanis Morissette. The band was also invited to perform at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, twice. After hundreds of shows, the band called it a day and Nyhoff continued as a solo artist. Years later, he reached the final of The Voice of Holland . Now he returns to Groningen with former members from different line-ups of The Prodigal Sons to play together once again. Expect an evening of bluesy Southern rock, band classics and songs from Nyhoff’s solo career.
