Noord Nederlands Orkest — Kerstconcert: Bach's Weihnachtsoratorium

About this event

Christmas means something different to everyone. But Bach has brought everyone together for centuries. His Weihnachtsoratorium is the ultimate Christmas music, even for those who have nothing with religion. This almost intoxicating music for choir, soloists and orchestra is nearly three hundred years old and has only become more popular. Let yourself be carried away by Bach’s refined textures and angelic singing. The grand forces are led by regular guest conductor Hartmut Haenchen. Program J.S. Bach Weihnachtsoratorium BWV 248, parts 1, 4, 5 en 6
