Dolly Dots – The Musical is a celebration of recognition, but also tells the story behind the spotlights: about the resilience of six young women who remain best friends to this day. From dolls to power women! We take you back to a time of no future, housing shortages, and unemployment. But also a time of teased hair, shoulder pads, glitter, and the Walkman. The era when six young women (some not even 18) stepped into a male-conceived format. In matching outfits, as 'singing dolls', on their way to sold-out venues and major hit songs. Until they felt: this is also our life. And they decided to take matters into their own hands. For themselves, and for each other. An ode to friendship and girl power.
