About this event

For over ten years, The Homesick has forged its own path within the Dutch alternative music scene. The trio from Dokkum is known for its continuous drive for innovation, effortlessly navigating between post-punk, new wave, art rock, and experimental pop. With influences from Yellow Magic Orchestra, disco, and quirky new wave, the band combines sharp melodies, angular guitar lines, and pulsating electronics into a unique sound. Under the name Rhizocorp, London-based artist Jim Osman creates a distinctive mix of mutant disco, minimal wave, noise, krautrock, and proto-house. Expect post-cyberpunk grooves with raw post-punk basslines, dusty rhythms, and distorted analog sounds, cut through by alien vocals.
