Nienke Leone sings about what she doesn't dare to talk about. Her narrative songs are poppy, ultra catchy, but above all radically honest. Infectious enthusiasm and disarming vulnerability come together in her shows. Before Nienke made her debut, she already wrote for artists like Emma Heesters, Zoë Livay, Miss Montreal, and Yves Berendse, scoring hits with, among others, ‘Alles Wordt Beter’ (Emma Heesters) and the Gooische Vrouwen anthem ‘Spijt is voor Later’. In 2024, she released her first EP, played 25 Popronde shows, and opened for artists like Krezip and Ruben Annink. In September 2025, she released her second EP 'Wegwerpliefde', combined with a sold-out release show in Rotown. Furthermore, in the spring of 2026, she played her very first own headline tour. She is now working on her debut album, expected in 2027, along with a new headline tour through the Netherlands.
