About this event

Dolorosa is a musical quest for humanity, in which actress, soprano, and theater maker Marie-Mae van Zuilen departs from classical music, accompanied by a five-man choir, singing about breaking free from ingrained roles and patterns of victim and perpetrator. The performance explores what happens when you try to see the person behind an unforgivable act and goes through the seasons of forgiveness. Dolorosa completes Marie-Mae's triptych on trauma after sexual violence.
