Roosbeef

About this event

Roosbeef is the band around singer and writer Roos Rebergen. Since their breakthrough, the group has grown into one of the most idiosyncratic voices in Dutch-language music. Rebergen is considered one of the most influential songwriters of her generation. Her songs are playful, disruptive, moving, and recognizable all at once. With five albums, Roosbeef has built a loyal audience in the Netherlands and Belgium and gained praise from the press, colleagues, and listeners. In 2024, Roos released an album with string quartet SunSunSun Orchestra featuring classical arrangements of her songs. The record and sold-out concerts received rave reviews. Meanwhile, she worked on new material. That process was overshadowed by the death of band member and friend Tom Pintens and a period in which Rebergen withdrew to work on her mental health. With 'Binnensmonds' and ‘De Leugen’, Roosbeef announces a sixth studio album. And so, Roosbeef continues to reinvent herself, without ever losing her unique voice.
