About this event

When Leeds-based Adult DVD turned the basement upside down in 2024, it was immediately clear that this would not be the last time they would play at VERA. Now they are back and will try to pull off the trick again in the main hall. The recipe? Six strong men, armed with synths, guitars, and a healthy dose of chaos and absurdity. They will unceremoniously drag you into the pit with their abrasive sound, which hovers somewhere between post-punk and rave. Certainly not a polished show, but a sweaty mess where standing still is not an option. Emerging from the primordial ooze of Rotterdam's damp DIY basements, Smudged shakes up the boundaries between krautrock, noisepunk, electronic pop, and techno, forging those genres into an explosive, energetic whole.
