About this event

Following Anima Obscura, Nanine Linning returns with La Mer, a large-scale total experience about the ocean. La Mer departs from Debussy’s iconic music, contrasting his romantic image of the sea with today's reality: pollution, rising sea levels, and an ecosystem under pressure. With 25 dancers, music by Claude Debussy and Yannis Kyriakides, and a powerful visual world, Nanine Linning and her international artistic team explore the tension between beauty and decay. The performance questions the ocean by merging dance, visuals, and sound into a total experience where the sea both seduces and warns.
