About this event

Suzan Seegers returns as Edith Piaf, the role for which she won the Musical Award for Best Leading Actress in 2024. The jury unanimously praised her "astonishing vocal power" and the way she brings the fragile, tormented soul of 'the little sparrow' to life. After a turbulent life full of alcohol, drugs, and men, one of France's greatest icons died over 60 years ago. But even long after her death, her chansons remain immortal; from Non, je ne regrette rien to La Vie en Rose. In this captivating musical, Piaf relives her final day. Confused and combative, she looks back on the highs and lows of her existence. With Suzan Seegers, Julia Berendse, Job Bovelander, David van den Tempel, and Hein Gerrits. Directed by Martin Michel.
